In America, we celebrate everything. No, really! There’s a national day for something every single day of the year. Check out the National Day Calendar (on the Right). Some days even have multiple celebrations stacked on top of each other. I was reminded of this when a longtime customer came to me with a playful challenge:
“Can you get custom socks with little fish on them?”
Her last name was Fish, Swedish Fish were part of her branding, and she wanted socks that tied it all together. Challenge accepted. We explored several vendors, chose the best fit, and got to work. The process was smooth, and since I’m a graphic designer, creating the pattern was the easy part. The final product? Fantastic.
And here’s a fun fact: December 4th is National Sock Day. (It’s also National Dice Day and National Cookie Day, talk about options.)
